So, I figured, since I'm still attending Full Sail, I'll use this as a status update/blog/whatever page until later down the road... As of right now, I am just glad that I passed OPE, Object Perspective if anyone was really wondering. OPE is a 2 month long class, now 2 months for a college class normally isn't really something someone complains about, unless you go to Full Sail, most classes last a month and are 4 hours for lecture and 4 hours for lab, and every class has a lecture/lab.
But OPE, that was 2 months long, and a straight 8hrs each day, with an hr break between lab/lecture, so i guess it really wasn't 8 straight hours, but close enough. Now, I'm not the worst artist in the world, but I'm also not the best when it comes to non-computers; Put me on a computer boom done, this not so much. OPE is just one of the many pains while going to Full Sail.
By the way, if you haven't noticed yet, I'm complaining. Mostly cause I don't do it irl, but this isnt irl is it, this is a nice imaginary place made up of 0's and 1's that look like text on a screen. But I think I'm getting off track, back to my complaining.
Now if any of you are thinking or maybe from my short rant, was thinking of going to full sail, stop thinking and go, its worth it. The pain and misery that is Full Sail's 0 life policy is compleatly worth going through. Spending 21 months for a 4 year degree, thats acreadited and I get to make movies/videogames/ect, not be in, but accually go through and make it. That's what this school is doing for me, and I love every second... well thats not true, but I do love every second of the computer labs.
More later, my brain is fried from being awake so long... more later. |
